1. Merchant of Record Billing Framework

All customer transactions on Niche Monitor are processed securely by our authorized Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC.

Lemon Squeezy is legally responsible for card processing, security, invoice generation, international sales tax (VAT/GST) remittance, and billing customer support. Your card statement will reflect charges from LEMONSQUEEZY*NICHEMONITOR or LEMONSQUEEZY.COM.

2. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your monthly or annual Pro subscription at any time without penalty:

You can cancel directly inside your Dashboard → Billing Settings by clicking "Manage Subscription", or through the Lemon Squeezy customer billing link included in your purchase receipt.
When you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period. You will retain full access to your research and hosted pages until the period expires.
You will not be billed again after cancellation.

3. Refund Eligibility by Product Type

A. Subscription Plans (Pro Tier)

If you purchase a subscription and determine that the service does not meet your expectations, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, provided you have not excessively consumed high volumes of validation compute during that billing window. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable, but can be cancelled at any time to prevent future charges.

B. Validation Credit Bundles (One-Time Purchases)

Validation credits consumed for live Reddit mining, AI pain point synthesis, or hosted cloud landing page generation are non-refundable once the compute task has been successfully delivered. However, if you experience a verified technical error (e.g. system outage or failed session generation), we will promptly re-credit your account or provide a full refund for unconsumed credits upon request within 14 days.

4. European Union & UK Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or United Kingdom, you generally have the statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason under Directive 2011/83/EU.

Digital Content Exemption: In accordance with Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive, you acknowledge that by initiating and immediately consuming digital automated search and AI analysis runs, you provide your express consent to begin performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you forfeit the right of withdrawal once digital service generation has been fully performed.

5. How to Request a Refund

Required Details: Order number / Lemon Squeezy receipt ID and a brief description of the issue.

We investigate and respond to all refund requests within 3 to 5 business days. Approved refunds are credited directly back to the original payment method through Lemon Squeezy within 5 to 10 banking days.
